The year is done for the seniors, so this will most likely be our last blog... Today were attempting to complete the tetra challenge before grades go in so hopefully everything goes well. It has been a great year in engineering and we hope the best for all future years to come.

With the quarter closing for us seniors we finally swallowed our pride and went to Mr. Martin for help with programming our arm. So with great pleasure i inform you that the robot & arm are both up and running/ fully functional. This was a great relief for our team, but we still need to buckle down and finish blogs as well as the tetra challenge.

As this week finishes we realize that this arm may be way out of the league for anyone in our group to program or even Jacob, so if we can not get this roadblock figured out soon we might have to go for broke and try to have Mr. Martin intervene with some advice. Hopefully it will not have to come to this seeing how the plug has been independent up to this point.

The quarter is slowly coming to an end, and we are rushing to try and figure out why our arm has not yet worked well enough to complete the tetrahedron challenge, we have tried almost everything we can to fix the problem. Might have to call in the (Jacob) soon and get an extra set of eyes on this arm.

Going into our tetra challenge, we are still trying to program the arm which is being difficult because of the outdated software, and our lack of knowledge with programming arms. On a positive note we have built a solid yet agile tetrahedron for the upcoming challenge so maybe that will give us the competitive edge we need.

Programming has finally show some improvement and with the arm pre-made Jason is attaching it to the bot for the next challenge. Tetra challenge is up next, where we must use the arm to pick up the tetra in a specific time.

It's been very challenging with programming, robot has been making horrible turns at bad angles which causes it to collide with the chairs and walls. but figured a way to get by these obstacles stay tuned till monday!!!.

As the week comes to a long end, although the plugs are exhausted and withered... It seems that their might be bright lining to every dark situation, even with Jason suspended due to too extreme skateboarding around school. Kadeem and Jeremy stuck through the bolts for one more hour so that we finally may build are ROBOT!!!

As the days start stacking up on nuts and bolts, it appears a hero has emerged. Kadeem has been coming to class everyday putting in work for the Plugs... Shout-Out to kadeem for not just his attendence or hard work, but for his overall new and outstanding work effort.

The week has started, and the pressure is on to complete the goal mentioned in the last post, which is to finish the square bot prototype by the half way mark of this week. If this goal is met then hopefully we will be blogging about the next step in the square bot by Friday.

As the week comes to an end, the group is slowly but surely finishing the square bot prototype in solidworks, and are hoping to have it done in the beginning of next week. There is not too much more to be done on the prototype, we need to finish the rails, side beams, and attach the wheels to be finished. Although it has taken longer then others we feel that perfection takes time.
